It’s a … ! Cheyenne Floyd, Lauren Bushnell and more pregnant stars have used creative methods to share the sexes of their babies in 2021. The Teen Mom OG star teased her reveal in December 2020, writing via Instagram: “2020 has been a hell of a year, one that we will not forget. It has been filled with so many ups and downs. I am ready to take on 2021 with new energy and a positive spirit. This year God blessed me in ways I could have never imagined. I’m honored to be a mommy for the second time! We are excited to share with you what we are having!” The following day, the MTV personality shared footage from her and boyfriend Zach Davis’ party, complete with blue powder and confetti. “I might still be in shock that I am having a boy,” the Challenge alum captioned her January 1 Instagram post. “Happiness is an understatement to try to explain how we feel. My family and I are elated.” The Los Angeles native added that her and ex Cory Wharton’s daughter, Ryder, “wanted a baby brother and swears she knew this whole time.” Floyd concluded, “I know she’s going to be an amazing big sister. Mommy and Daddy love you and can’t wait to meet you.” The social media upload came one month after she and Davis announced that they had a little one on the way. The pregnant star gushed via Instagram about how “supportive” her partner was in November 2020. As for Bushnell, the Bachelor alum is also expecting a baby boy. The former reality star’s husband, Chris Lane, used his golfing skills to reveal the baby-to-be’s sex. “Hello 2021,” the country singer captioned January 1 footage. “IT’S A BOY.” Bushnell added in a post of her own: “Sweet baby BOY, we cannot wait to meet you! I already love you so much! … My family was in town and I’ve truly never seen Chris/my brothers so excited! And yes, [our dog], Coopy, definitely knows I’m pregnant.” She and Lane tied the knot in October 2019 in Nashville, four months after the “Big, Big Plans” singer proposed to the Oregon native. Loving life! It’s been a wild ride for Chip and Joanna Gaines after meeting in 2001 in Waco, Texas, and setting out to make a life together. The Kansas native and New Mexico-born carpenter tied the knot in 2003, and share five children, Drake, Ella, Duke, Emmie Kay and Crew. Shortly after getting married, the pair began building their life in Texas — which included their first business ventures, Magnolia Market and Magnolia Homes. They rose to fame nearly a decade later when they landed their own TV show, Fixer Upper, in 2012. Their family, however, has always come first. “At the end of the day, I love Jo more than anything in the world,” Chip told E! News in a March 2020 episode of In the Room. Once the series hit HGTV in 2013, the duo’s empire began to take off. Britney Spears’ Inner Circle Makes a Case for Her Conservatorship to End
Pulling back the curtain. A new documentary centers on Britney Spears’ life and career, offering rare insight from those in her inner circle about her lengthy conservatorship battle. The sixth episode of The New York Times Presents, titled “Framing Britney Spears,” features interviews with insiders including the Princess of Pop’s longtime family friend and former assistant, Felicia Culotta; the Jive Records marketing executive who helped shape her career, Kim Kaiman; various journalists and photographers who have covered Spears, 39, over the years; and lawyers who have had involvement in the conservatorship. The 75-minute film takes viewers through the Louisiana native’s childhood, her days on Star Search and The All-New Mickey Mouse Club, her megasuccessful music career, her romantic relationships with Justin Timberlake and Kevin Federline, her infamous breakdown in the mid-2000s, her comeback and the indefinite work hiatus that she has been on since 2019 as she fights for control of her life and money. In February 2008, Spears’ father, Jamie Spears, was named the conservator of her person and her estate. She has remained under the court-ordered guardianship ever since and rarely speaks about it publicly, though her attorney, Samuel D. Ingham III, told a judge in November 2020 that “she is afraid of her father” and refuses to “perform as long as her father is in charge of her career.” While Britney filed a request that same month to have Jamie, 68, removed as the conservator of her estate and replaced by a third party, he later claimed to CNN that they had been on “good terms” as recently as August 2020. Jamie has argued that he should stay on the case as he had been instrumental in saving Britney’s life and career when she was at her lowest point. The “Toxic” singer’s mother, Lynne Spears, is considered an interested party in the conservatorship, though she has never had a formal role like her ex-husband. Lynne, 65, has, however, indicated that she is on Britney’s side in terms of loosening the constraints. The Through the Storm author’s attorney, Gladstone Jones, said in a November 2020 court hearing that “Lynne believes the time is now to start fresh given the circumstances of Britney’s request [to remove Jamie].” In the midst of the drama, Britney’s diehard fans launched the #FreeBritney campaign on social media to voice concerns about possible injustices in the case. Ingham said in a September 2020 court filing that “Britney welcomes and appreciates the informed support of her fans” as she tries to “regain some personal autonomy” during her time out of the spotlight.
