Chris Harrison Teases Matt’s 'Thing' for Serena P.: What We Know

Spotted: Serena P. stealing Matt James’ heart? Serena Pitt is one of the women competing on season 25 of The Bachelor in 2021. Season 25 marked the first season with two women named Serena competing on the ABC reality series. While Serena Chew is a 24-year-old flight attendant from San Francisco, Serena P. is the 22-year-old Canadian who brought a step stool with her out of the limo on night one. “We have a handful of very small, petite girls, but this girl is tiny. … She may be small, but Serena P. is a force to be reckoned with on the show,” Chris Harrison teased in a YouTube video introducing the cast last month. “[She has] great chemistry with Matt. It is evident from the moment that she steps out of the limo, they just have this chemistry. They have this thing.” The host continued: “The thing with Serena P. to keep an eye on — and this is very interesting — she’s always honest. She always tells everybody, including Matt, where she stands, how she feels, what the score is. Now, will Matt hear that? We’ll have to find out.” Matt, 29, previously told Us Weekly exclusively that he felt “undeserving” of his group of women. “It’s just such a great group of women, like, women that you would never think would be single,” he said earlier this month. “That’s why I was so skeptical coming in, because it’s like, you don’t think the type of woman exists that I was interacting with and that were part of this experience. So, it made my life and decision-making that much more difficult because you’re having to send home incredible women.” Matt has also been candid about why he had trouble finding The One prior to being named the Bachelor. “My dating history in New York [was] slim to none because I was broke. Like, I didn’t have any money, so I couldn’t take anybody out on a date,” the real estate broker said on the “Bachelor Happy Hour” podcast on January 12. “New York is expensive, so just by default, I wasn’t doing a lot of dating. … I knew that the relationship part would come, but it had been a while since I had been in a serious relationship.” The Bachelor airs on ABC Mondays at 8 p.m. ET. Scroll through for five things to know about Serena P.:

'Downton Abbey' Stars: Where Are They Now?

Truly a classic! Downton Abbey caught the attention of millions of viewers throughout its six seasons — and fans are still binge-watching the drama well after its finale. The British series aired on ITV from 2010 to 2015 and was brought to PBS audiences across the pond. Starring Hugh Bonneville, Dame Maggie Smith and more iconic English actors, the show was met with critical acclaim and earned numerous awards, including a Golden Globe Award for Best Miniseries or Television Film and an Emmy Award for Outstanding Miniseries. Not only was Downton Abbey a major hit on the small screen, but it was also transformed into movie magic. In September 2019, several of the original cast members reprised their roles in a feature-length film spin-off of the successful series. The continuing saga of the Crawley family’s estate in the English countryside raked in $194 million worldwide. When the TV series came to an end in 2015, fans weren’t the only ones who were sad to say goodbye to the beloved characters. Bonneville, who played Robert Crawley, the Earl of Grantham, revealed that he couldn’t leave the role behind without taking a little something to remember him by. “I did liberate a letter from a character [played by Matthew Goode] called Henry Talbot, who really emerges quite clearly in Season 6, inviting [the Crawleys] to race a car or something,” the actor teased during a 2016 interview with Kelly Ripa. “On Downton, not only is each letter beautifully handwritten or typed if appropriate, but it’s also germane to the scene that you’re doing. It’s really beautiful, that level of detail, because it puts you in the moment, in that era that you are trying to evoke.” Bonneville’s pilfered prop now hangs in a frame in the downstairs bathroom of his home. While many fan-favorites returned for the film, Lily James didn’t make a cameo. Despite viewers’ disappointment, producer Gareth Neame and creator Julian Fellowes revealed that James’ absence from the movie wasn’t personal. “She can’t be [in it]; she’s in every other film at the world at the moment,” Neame joked to Entertainment Weekly in December 2018. At the time, Fellowes added: “Lily is now a big star, and it would’ve been incredibly difficult for her to find time in her schedule to come and play essentially a supporting role in Downton when her career was in a different place when she was with us. … She’s our greatest success story from the cast of the show.” Scroll down to learn what the cast of Downton Abbey is up to now.

Stars Who’ve Spoken Out About Getting the COVID-19 Vaccine

Experts are hopeful that the coronavirus vaccine will help to curb the spread of COVID-19, which has killed more than 2 million people worldwide since its 2019 emergence in China. Steve Martin, Martha Stewart and both President-elect Joe Biden and Vice President-elect Kamala Harris were among the first high-profile names to get the shots. The Father of the Bride actor made jokes about the process after getting vaccinated in January 2021. “Good news/Bad news,” Martin tweeted on January 17. “Good news: I just got vaccinated! Bad news: I got it because I’m 75. Ha!” The comedian noted that it was “smooth as silk” when getting the shot in New York City. He later made light of possible side effects, tweeting, “Right now, I’m having no fide resects.” Stewart, for her part, shared a video of herself preparing to get her shot at Mount Sinai Downtown in New York, via Instagram on January 11. “I am so proud of and grateful to the doctors, nurses and medical staff who are wading through the red tape and confusion of the distribution of these very important vaccines,” she wrote at the time. “I am excited to have received my dosage and look forward to the booster.” The lifestyle guru clapped back at haters who claimed she cut in front of others, writing, “To allay your concerns that I jumped the line, know that I am in the approved age group for this batch of vaccines and I waited in line with others.” Stewart, who is 79, added: “Here’s to the advancement of science and a heartfelt thanks to those working on the vaccines. We are all hoping for an end to this pandemic.” Biden and Harris had the press in attendance when they received their shots, which they both got before taking office on January 20. “I’m doing this to demonstrate that people should be prepared, when it’s available, to take the vaccine,” Biden told reporters in December 2020. “There’s nothing to worry about. I’m looking forward to the second shot.” Ian McKellen and Joan Collins were among the first celebrities to document their vaccine journey in the U.K. Collins received her dose on the same day as Queen Elizabeth II, writing on Instagram that she was “honored” to get the shot. Scroll down to see which stars have spoken about receiving the COVID-19 vaccine.

'Challenge' Star Ashley Cain's Baby Girl Gets Transplant Amid Cancer Battle

The Challenge‘s Ashley Cain shared an update on his daughter’s battle with leukemia as the 5-month-old had a stem cell procedure on Monday, January 18. “Today was by far the biggest day of our lives. One that we have been hoping, wishing and praying for. The day Azaylia received her stem cell transplant and begins the toughest journey imaginable to save her precious life!” the British reality star, 30, wrote via Instagram on Monday alongside a handful of photos from the Birmingham Children’s Hospital in England. “We believe in you, princess. You are strong, you are mighty, you are courageous and God is with you! You got this, Likkle Lion. We love you! LETS GO CHAMP! .” One day prior, Cain thanked fans for their “overwhelming” support after announcing that a suitable donor had been found for his little one. “It’s hard to put into words how grateful we’re are for everyone that’s supported, shared and registered to be a donor to help save Azaylia’s life,” he wrote in a separate Instagram post. “However, after Azaylia’s second round of chemotherapy, we were informed that Azaylia had relapsed and her leukemia had returned. Which highlights how aggressive her cancer is and shows how crucial this transplant will be.” The former soccer star said that the “incredibly tough” transplant process could take between four and nine months. “It’s going to get a lot worse before it gets better,” he added. “But we’re however doing our best to remain strong and positive for our daughter. She made it past the first stage of treatment against the odds and we truly believe that she will do the same this time around! She is a fighter, she will do this and we will be by her side every step of the way! LETS GO CHAMP!” Cain welcomed his daughter with girlfriend Safiyya Vorajee in August 2020. Two months later, he shared the news of Azaylia’s cancer diagnosis, calling it “single most upsetting, terrifying and heartbreaking experience” of his life. Weeks later, he shared a message of gratitude for those who’ve prayed and kept his family in their thoughts. “I gain so much inspiration from your love, energy and positively it’s unbelievable,” he wrote in an Instagram Story at the time. “When I read your guys messages, yeah, it gets me through the next hour. It helps me to be 100 for this little ball of energy. Thank you very much for the love and support. Keep it up. Keep her in your prayers, God only has to answer one of us.” Two months before his daughter secured a donor for her procedure, the Ex on the Beach UK alum opened up about the difficult experience of finding the right match to give Azaylia a “fighting chance” to survive. “As she has an ethnic mix of Caribbean/Indian/White it is much more difficult for her to find a match,” Cain explained via Instagram in November 2020. “That being said, ANYBODY no matter what race could be her genetic match! My little warrior has done all she can do up until this point and more, but now she needs our help.” Scroll down to learn more about Azaylia’s fight.
